About me 

My name is Ella

I am a trained Horticulturist with over five years of growing experience, having worked across a range of settings including botanical gardens, private estates, garden design companies, and small-scale food production.
 
Alongside this, I am a whole foods Cook with a lifelong love of cooking, passionate about seasonal, nourishing meals made from real ingredients. I’ve also hosted and catered intimate events and retreats, bringing people together through food and nature.
 
My work is deeply grounded in sustainability, slow living, and a genuine connection to the earth.

About Ella's Plantas

I offer sustainable planting and garden concepts for small gardens across the UK, creating spaces filled with resilient plants, flowers, and greenery. Projects include hands-on planting with edible, medicinal, and pollinator-friendly species, seasonal garden health plans, and tailored planting schemes to enhance biodiversity and support long-term ecological balance.

I also offer plant-led catering for retreats and events, crafting seasonal, wholesome meals inspired by the garden and the land. Ingredients are locally sourced and organic wherever possible, designed to nourish the body, support wellbeing, and bring people together.

Through recipes, DIY herbal tutorials, and blog posts about sustainable planting, medicinal gardens, organic gardening, and nature-based, community-led projects, I share a way of life grounded in simplicity, connection, and respect for the earth.
